Specializes in financial analysis and control of farms/ranches; financial/business turnarounds; financial feasibility studies and business expansion plans; and farmer/lender workshops.  Is both a Certified Management Consultant and Certified Agriculture Consultant.  Clients have included farmers/ranchers, lenders, and agri-businesses ranging from sole proprietorships to multi-billion dollar companies across the United States and Canada.  Is a speaker on financial and business management topics in agriculture both domestically and internationally. 

Has served with the IBM Field Engineering Division installing and maintaining large computer systems for national and international corporations.  Is currently responsible for the management of his family’s farm operation in Central Illinois. Is currently the owner of KE Precision Ag, a provider of state-of-the-art precision planting equipment. Also, owner of KE Seed a dealership for globally recognized innovative commercial seeds.

Served as Treasurer of the Heartland Water Resources Council a broad based group of private and public members concerned with the Illinois River watershed. Appointed to a Special Task Force on Financing and Management Alternatives for the Illinois River Basin and Watershed (the 4th largest river system in the United States in terms of commerce).  Served as a member of the Agriculture Advisory Board to U.S. Congressman Ray LaHood and has provided testimony to the House Ag Committee concerning the 1995 Farm Bill.  Also served(s) as director of several agricultural, industrial, and regional organizations.  Served as a director of the Better Bank Group located in Central IL.  Is a Certified Member of the American Society of Agriculture Consultants and currently serves as a director to the board.  Has written and provided information for numerous articles in national agricultural publications.  Has been a participant of the technical symposiums of the Farm Financial Standards Council.
